Control of communicable disease can only occur through collaboration with community members, healthcare providers, and organizations. By establishing and maintaining strong links with our community stakeholders, Public Health utilizes prevention, surveillance, and outbreak control to reduce the incidence of communicable disease in Humboldt County.
