Hospital Preparedness Program Meetings

Humboldt County has participated in the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) since it began in 2003. Through this long term involvement in assisting the county’s health care facilities a large and varied group of agencies have come together to share plans, experiences, and best practices. The partnership group is well established, has many active and committed partners, and has excellent communication abilities.

 

In accordance with the HPP Cooperative Agreement, the County remains committed to maintaining, refining, and enhancing the capabilities of the local health care systems in the County. This is accomplished through grant administration and funding, active participation in county wide emergency planning efforts, regular emergency preparedness meetings, and sponsorship of training opportunities.
